  Give A Day and Get A Day at Disneyland  
 
 
   

We are fortunate to have been selected be served by The Civics Projects – 50 States in 50 days

The Civics Project will be at ITH from 8 AM-4 PM this February 12th. Register to volunteer with us that day at Disney.com’s “Give A Day Get A Disney Day”, to receive a free ticket for Disneyland, good through December 15, 2010.

Follow instructions. At the time of this writing, Inland Temporary Homes is not listed, but as soon as we are, we expect the volunteer need for that day to be filled within hours of posting.

We need 65 volunteers that day to accomplish the following

Organize donation and storage sheds
Clean up playground and wash all equipment
Pressure-wash house exterior
Full yard clean-up
Clear the path leading into the orange groves nearest office
Paint 4-square and Hopscotch court
Wash all windows and windowsills
Wash shelter walls and deep clean two bathrooms
Clean kitchen/ dining room cupboards, drawers and walls
Clean out and completely redo pantry
Clean and polish all woodwork (door frames, banister etc)
Organize Learning Center
Sanitize toys
Paint Learning Center wall mural
Miscellaneous handyman-type repairs
At second site, paint play court for games and install basketball hoops
